Iscaguard CMI is a 1.5% solution of a blend of chloromethyl and methyl isothiazolinone in a ratio of 3:1. The mixture is stabilised with magnesium chloride and magnesium nitrate. This isothiazolinone blend is a broad-spectrum preservative with extremely high efficacy at low use levels. It is particularly useful in surfactant based products, such as shower gels, bath foams and shampoos.
